Apparel Design
One Piece Law & Luffy Shirt Concept
(2026)
This project explores apparel design inspired by the characters from “One Piece”, Law (left) and Luffy (right), along with the powers and abilities they use throughout the series. For this project, I wanted to use my own art style and apply it to the apparel design, simple and cute. During the sketch process, I asked my brother for feedback, and I was told that Law’s design looked too plain compared to Luffy’s design. Because of this, I redesigned it by focusing on using a different Law’s abilities to make the design visually interesting.
One Piece Ope-Ope No Mi Hoodie Concept
(2026)
This project explores apparel design inspired by “One Piece”, specifically Law’s “Ope-Ope No Mi” ability and the character Corazon. For this design, I wanted to create something simple while using only one color to make the printing process easier. While designing this, I asked myself: “Would I wear this in public?” Although I enjoy anime, especially “One Piece,” I usually prefer not wearing anime apparel because it can feel too visually distinct for everyday wear. Because of this, I wanted to create a design that felt more subtle while still representing the characters and themes I enjoy. Even though the final design was still not something I would personally wear every day, this project helped me explore the balance between anime-inspired graphics and subtle apparel design.
Dragon Insignia Jacket Concept
(2024)
This project explores apparel design inspired by Korean traditional patterns. I created a concept design for a black denim jacket featuring a gold Dragon Insignia motif and planned to hand-paint the final design using fabric paint. The image shown is a digital mockup of the jacket design. Below the jacket is a Korean traditional tassel accessory called a “Norigae”, which I also designed to match the jacket.

Lakota West Marching Band Drum Major Section Shirt
(2022 - 2024)
I designed section shirts for the Drum Majors of the Lakota West Marching Band. For each season, I created shirt designs that matched the theme of the show. Each design was illustrated by me using painting website called “Kleki” and later printed through Custom Ink. Every member of the section tie-dyed their own shirt, making each one unique.
